Innovation in Denmark
- how Danish enterprises convert new ideas and knowledge into value
|
The Danish Ministry of Economic and Business Affairs have conducted the analysis Innovation in Denmark. The analysis focuses on how Danish enterprises convert new ideas and knowledge into value by working with new types of innovation, such as user-driven innovation and open innovation. The conclusions of the analysis show that many enterprises experience positive economic results from working with user needs and open innovation in the innovation process. Nevertheless, few Danish enterprises systematically work with a focus on the user and draw on external knowledge through open innovation processes. The analysis further shows that there has been a decline in innovation activities in Danish enterprises from 2002-2004 to 2004-2006. |
